SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
The Greenpoint Film Festival accepts submissions in the following categories:
Awards
Special Greenpoint Film Festival awards will be given to a single winner in each category.
Narrative Feature Sub-Categories:
Stand-Alone Categories:
Audience Choice:
Special Perks & Grants:
- WriterDuet: 5 award winners will receive a 1 year subscription.
- Cinelease: GFF has partenered with Cinelease, who will award a winner with a $25,000 grant.
Please read the following guidelines before submitting your film for consideration.
Deadlines & Fees

| 🟢Earlybird Deadline (Dec 31, 2025) | $30 | $40 |
| 🟡Regular Deadline (Mar 31, 2026) | $40 | $50 |
| 🔴Late Deadline (May 1, 2026) | $50 | $60 |
Submission Requirements:
1. The film must have been completed between January, 2024 – April 2026.
2. Works in any language other than English must have English subtitles at the time of submission. Dialogue lists will NOT be accepted.
3. Short films and student works must be under 40 minutes. Features must be 40 minutes or longer.
