SYNOPSIS: Gemma is a typical midwestern teen living in the early 2000s. She makes out with posters in her bedroom, goes to church with her family on Sundays, and constantly fantasizes about her crush. In the comfort of her own bedroom she’s confident about confronting her crush, but when she attends Sunday school she’s reminded that lust is a sin. Thanks to a magazine quiz about love, her best friend Maggie, and Jesus Christ himself, she’s eventually ready for her first kiss.
